Anteaters

Anteaters live in South America and Central America. Some anteaters  live in forests. This giant anteater lives on grasslands.  Giant anteaters have long snouts for sniffing out ant nest. The baby anteater rides on it’s mum ‘s back. Sometimes mum curls her furry tail over the baby to keep it warm. Anteaters eat ants and  termites .  They use their sticky tongues to lap up the tiny  bugs. The giant anteater’s tongue is 60 centimetres long! Anteaters have long, sharp claws, but no teeth.
